Meet The Team At McLoud Family Dental

Dr. Mehner was born in southern California but moved a few times growing up and his family settled in Edmond when he was 14. He graduated from Edmond North High School in 2001 and attended the University of Oklahoma for both undergraduate and dental school. Dr. Mehner received an Air Force scholarship for dental school and his first assignment was at Eglin AFB in the panhandle of Florida. There, he completed a one-year program called Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he was able to train one on one with all the dental specialists (orthodontist, oral surgeon, periodontist, endodontist, prosthodontist) and learned how to do specialty level care. He was trained to do orthodontics (braces), remove wisdom teeth, place implants, do all kinds of root canals, advanced cosmetic work like veneers, and was also trained to do IV sedation, which less than 1% of general dentists are able to do. After that one year, there was an opening at home in Tinker so he came back to Oklahoma to finish his military commitment. He is a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Mehner is married to Stephanie. They have five children: Luke, Lydia, Elyse, Trevor, and Claire. He and his family moved to the area to be a part of the community in preparation for starting McLoud Family Dentistry. They enjoy living on some land and hope to have some horses someday.

Hello all! I’m Brandy and I have lived in the Choctaw area since 2000. I have over 20 years in medical and dental billing experience. I joined Dr. Mehner’s office in May 2016 and have enjoyed working with such a talented, caring and professional group of individuals. I have been married to my wonderful husband Joe since 2001 and together we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, gardening and traveling with my family

My name is Stacey Freeman. I have lived in McLoud since 1990. I have been a dental assistant since 2001. I worked as an assistant at Tinker Air Force Base in 2011 where I first started working with Dr. Mehner. I joined McLoud Family Dentistry in April 2015. I absolutely love what I do! In my spare time, I enjoy baking cakes, including birthday cakes, wedding cakes etc. I have been married 7 years to my wonderful husband Joey. We have 3 beautiful children and are expecting our 4th in June 2017!

Hello, my spring chickens! I’m Sarah and I hail from Edmond, Oklahoma! I’ve been practicing dental hygiene for 3 years, and have loved getting to know my patients as I clean their teeth. When I’m not helping people get fresh and clean, I spend time adding to my sock collection, reading, baking, lifting weights, or spending time with one or more of my 13 nieces and nephews (or one of my 5 siblings). I love talking with people and helping people overcome any negative stigmas they have with dentistry. So please, come see me soon! We’ll have a good time.
